The design and simulation system of the automatic glass loading and unloading manipulator actually consists of two parts. The loading and unloading manipulator adopts a PLC automatic control system and a touch screen operation, which is simple and convenient to operate.

The upper and lower plate robotic arm is designed based on the upper and lower plate structure of equipment such as insulated glass vertical production lines, horizontal production lines, glue coating lines, edge grinders, and tempering furnaces, in order to achieve convenient and fast docking. The design of the upper and lower robotic arms presents the following characteristics:
(1) Life rules and standards. The design of virtual products requires the participation of a large number of cross disciplinary personnel. As for the virtual design of the picking robot mentioned in this article, the attribute naming of components in virtual product modeling and simulation needs to be consistent and standardized. The naming convention standards adopted in this article comprehensively consider the perspectives of mechanical design and software design, and stipulate the naming rules for parts of the same or similar size, function, and material in different components of the robotic arm during program design.
(2) Parameterize the characteristic attributes of the punch press manipulator to facilitate attribute management in various stages of manipulator design and to achieve rapid design. When users make modifications or design optimizations to a certain component, they only need to modify its corresponding feature parameters. The system modifies and updates designs through real-time communication. If a certain component of the robotic arm is modified, the CAD design drawing of the part is modified through the human-computer interaction design interface of the program, and after modification, it is checked and stored in the database.
